Exceptional
Dentists

IV sedation is useful if you need a lot of dental work at one time. IV sedation allows the dentist to provide multiple procedures at once, while you calm and relaxed. Most patients sleep through the entire procedure.

Dr. Kurt Whitlow has been serving patients in our community for the last 30 years. Dr. Yau is our associate dentist and has been with us since October 2020. She has a very calming personality and is exceptionally light-handed.

What are Full & Partial Dentures?

Full dentures and partial dentures, also called complete and partial dentures, are custom-crafted removable dental appliances designed to replace missing teeth. Constructed from durable acrylic or flexible thermoplastic resin, dentures and partials incorporate carefully colored and shaped artificial teeth embedded into clear or pink-tinted bases matching your gum tissues.

Partials are dentures that fill in gaps from one or more missing teeth and utilize precision clasps to securely anchor them to your remaining teeth. Full dentures are used to replace an entire row of upper and lower teeth. Both options for dentures integrate personal fit and facial contour considerations for comfortable, non-restrictive wear rivaling natural smiles. With proper care, dentures and partial dentures restore confidence and abilities for 10 or more years.

What are the benefits of Dentures?

For patients suffering from tooth loss or damage beyond salvage, dentures offer the following benefits:

  • Complete and partial dentures eliminate gaps from missing teeth for improved facial aesthetics.

  • A set of complete dentures or partial dentures restore the ability to bite, chew, and taste a diverse diet high in nutrients.

  • Dentures help stabilize sagging facial features caused by missing teeth and bone loss.

  • Dentures reduce the excessive wear of remaining natural teeth contacting at irregular pressures.

  • Full and partial dentures help resolve speech impediments and embarrassing slurring from missing teeth.

  • Denture teeth help renew the self-confidence needed to freely smile, laugh, and express joy again.

  • New dentures can transform smiles in as little as a month.

Who Qualifies for Dental Implant Supported Dentures?

You may qualify for full dentures or partials if:

  • You have tooth decay and infection untreatable through dental fillings, root canals, or other restorative measures.

  • You have gum disease, which has led to irreversible tooth loosening and the need for extractions.

  • You have facial bone loss or tooth detachment due to a lack of bone support.

  • You've experienced injuries, congenital disorders, or other conditions causing tooth absence.

  • Financial limitations make extractions the most viable option for you vs. other, more lasting treatments, such as dental implants.
